The warm-water production from solar energy is described as a solar-thermal energy. Warmth is produced and handed in over a heat exchanger into a solar loft filled water by a solar panel.

The warmed water can be used for the industrial water warming (e.g. for taking a shower, dishes wash, hands wash, etc.) and/or heating support.

There are all sorts of constructions of collectors - the most used are flat and vacuum tube collectors.

In Germany meet every year the earth more than 1,100 kilowatt hours solar energy per m². This relates to the energy salary of 110 liters fuel oil.

The peak load in the warm water consumption, (if sufficient solar energy isn't available), is covered with often already available boilers (wood pellets, wood chips, oil, or gas burner).

The installation of solar thermal plants becomes promotion by the federation as well as countries and communes. Currently you get promotion once per begun collector square meter.
